Sunflower Presents G. Love & Special Sauce in Concert!

Sunflower is stoked to present G. Love & Special Sauce for a street concert at 8th & Mass. on the Capitol Federal stage on Friday, Oct. 14, as a fundraiser for the Steve Tilford Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to help young people of all backgrounds find and chase their passion through the sport of cycling, something we at Sunflower are super passionate about, too.

Friday, October 14, Schedule of Events

6 p.m.: Gates open @ Capital Federal Stage, 8th & Mass.  We'll have a beer tent (watch for the brews from Free State Brewing), food, and plenty of room to hang out with family and friends (show is open to all ages). Concert starts at 8 p.m.

We're offering more opportunities to support the Steve Tilford Foundation as part of the event:

6:00 – 8:00 p.m.: VIP Dinner / Tilford Foundation Fundraiser @ Sunflower Outdoor and Bike: Featuring front row tickets to G. Love & Special Sauce Street concert; private access to the 2nd Floor of Sunflower Outdoor & Bike; bar, silent auction, dinner, and a chance to rub elbows with the who’s who of the Belgian Waffle Ride weekend!

You can also participate in the online auction: Live the week leading up to BWR! This online auction is open for bidding all week (Oct. 7 through 14) and the items will be on display during the Steve Tilford VIP Foundation Dinner. Winners will be announced at the dinner on Friday night.

Saturday, October 15, Schedule of Events

Why not keep the fun rolling? Come down Saturday for more BWR fun on Saturday, Oct. 15:

8:00 a.m.: Pablove Burrito Ride: The day starts with a Breakfast Burrito Ride, an early morning bike ride open to everyone, featuring Sunflower Cafe breakfast burritos. Special bonus ... burrito riders will get to preview the Snake Farm Ranch portion of the course, the most asked-about section of the course. $25 gets you a tee, a burrito, and access to the Snake Farm.

10:00 – 6:00 p.m.: BWR Expo @ 8th & Mass: Vendors open outside and food available (all day) in the Sunflower Cafe.

Noon – 6:00 p.m.: Beer garden @ 8th & Mass is open.

7:00 p.m.: Sunflower and the Granada are presenting the Get Up Kids at the Capitol Federal outdoor stage at 8th and Mass. This is a FREE show, so bring the family out to have some fun with the full Expo Day followed by the evening concert.
