Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour

Live in September; Liberty Hall PLUS All Year Online!

Thank you for joining us for another memorable year of Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour! If you missed the 2022 festival — or you’d like to watch the films we didn’t include in our screenings — you can watch them on-demand anytime (and Sunflower still gets a portion of the proceeds!) by purchasing a 3-day rental from Banff directly for $15 each package of films. We'll be back next year with a live screening of more of the best mountain films.

Belgian Waffle Ride: Kansas

October

We were proud to be host the final stop in the Quadruple Crown of Gravel on October 14 - 16. The Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) is fortunate to have the main part of Downtown Lawrence shut down for our music concert on Friday night, the Unroad Expo on Saturday, and all three distances from 120+ to 30+ (Belgian Waffle, Wafer and Wanna Rides) right at Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop. And when the races roll out, within a few short miles, we are on gravel and the rest of the course offers virtually no flat or straight sections. The routes undulate relentlessly over sinuous and glorious gravel roads, which are intermittently broken up by magnificent single tracks and two incredible cyclocross courses totaling 10-miles of sheer adult BMX fun. Stay tuned to join us in 2023 for the ride distance of your choosing—and stay tuned for options to get concert tickets for Friday night! Race proceeds benefit the Steve Tilford Foundation, whose mission is to help young people of all backgrounds find and chase their passion through the sport of cycling by promoting education, mentorship, and access to quality cycling opportunities.
